I have always had a passion for music. There is something fascinating and intoxicating about being able to take music that you love, put it together and watch it transform from a simple collection of songs, to a journey of sound that not only moves your body, but excites your mind. I began Djing in 2001. A close friend of mine, Tony Svehla, had been Djing for as long as I can remember, finally decided to get some equipment. I started playing around on his decks to make Cd's for my car, but it felt like such a natural thing that it brought me to the point where I realized that this is where I truly wanted to be. Work began with Brendan Cooney (RUN) who came to Melbourne to organize QB RUN 01, heard one of my Cd's while visiting and gave me 1st set @ Cup RUN the same year. To this day that set, purely for nostalgic reasons, would have to be the highlight of my career. It was such a rush to be able to fill the back room by the second track and to then keep the crowd going for the entire set was amazing and inspiring. In March 2001 Dj Tony Svehla started a night called 'GRIND' @ The Market Hotel in Melbourne where I was asked to play a guest spot. Due to an overwhelming response from the crowd I landed a residency the next week which lasted for the next 6 years. In April 2005 I Dj'd at a small private party for Promoter Steve Atkins called 'WOOFCLUB' which was held in the Club 80 dungeon. The party was an instant success partly due to my unique musical direction and style. WoofClub fast became not only one of Melbourne's, but also one of Sydney's, Perth’s, San Francisco's and Los Angeles' premier boutique Men's leather/fetish parties where I played as the main resident Dj from April 2005 through to December 2009. Over the past 11 years my style has changed and evolved but the one thing that has remained constant is that dirty, progressive tribal sound you will hear in all my sets, and the ability to keep surprising the crowd. If you can't grind your hips to it, I won't play it! Fortunately for me, I've found it easy to read a crowd and I guess that's why I'm still working! My favourite tracks are from the late 80's early 90's and I guess that's where my style comes from. Dirty, Dark, Tribal, throw in a sexy Spanish feel, a couple of screaming women, some cow bells and you've got it!
